Dear Friends,
After long period full of agony, anger, frustration & feeling cheated, I'm writing this blog to share the pain MMT has caused me.
I got married on 18/Feb/2017, below are the date wise chain of events happened (All dates are for 2017)
6/Jan: First connected with MMT for a HoneyMoon plan
Till end January MMT sent me multiple itineraries for different countries and finalized below
3 Nights Paris
6 Nights Switzerland
3 Nights Denmark
Further when I discussed the same with MMT I was suggested to book all the flights by myself as this will save me approx 30K and book the complete land package with MMT.
8-Feb: Booked all the flights by myself, paid money to MMT for land package.
10-Feb: Evening flight to Del from Hyderabad
11-Feb: I was told that I need a employer letter for Visa (WTF), MMT was fully aware of my travel plans, that I'm in Delhi and I cannot get this letter before 14/Feb Tuesday, now this lead to postpone my visa interview to Wednesday 15/Feb from 13/Feb, I missed one of the important function of my marriage in Jaipur due to this goofup, MMT visa team told me that as per the plan I've to go for Switzerland visa due to my longest stay there also told me that it usually takes 3-4 weeks, I was puzzled, I've already made all the payments, maxed out all my credit cards, my planned travel date was less than 2 weeks away, I was very furious and just blasted them if this was the case why did't they told me while I was finalizing the travel and making the payment (Either change the dates or destination), this guy told me not to worry and 1-2 hours later I was told that MMT will provide me a alternate itinerary for Visa purpose only and they being the professionals in this field, all the payments been done I was left with no other option except to go with their suggestions, below was the itinerary I was given to present for Visa and I didn't paid for this, my original itinerary was different.

Collected my passport from VFS office at CP on 22/Feb and found my visa is rejected, when contacted MMT I was asked to reapply again on 23/Feb
23/Feb: Reapplied again
24/Feb: Received my passport and this time no rejection letter only blank passports
When connected again with MMT they were very unprofessional and I was left in middle of nowhere.
I connected with easemytrip through a friend and they were very professional and helped me plan my Honeymoon on a very short notice but the only options I was left with was visa on arrival countries.
Once I was back from my Honeymoon in Maldives I connected back with MMT again and after multiple followups emails/Calls nothing happened.
Later I got connected to Geeta Earl through my professional network on LinkedIn, she heads customer delight in MMT, a lady named Kritika called me on the very same day and offered the full refund of the amount I paid to MMT and I was told to forgo the amount paid for all the flights, leave aside the mental & financial harassment this whole incident has caused me and my wife, I simply disagreed, this was sometime in first week of April 2017 and I haven't heard back from them.
After everything happened I found this link which explains 12 common reason for visa rejection and I don't see anything applicable in my case except forged travel documents and the reason behind my visa rejection was fake documents given by MMT.
